Justin B. Exploded parts renders - cool cool this exactly what i wanted to do, just a proof of concept. we'll need to redo the camera movement and speed and stuff, but this will work. lets pause it till we need direct application (i.e. get site built and see exactly how to script it) February 2, 2015 27 comments

Taylor B. Photoshoot shot references - you thinking more environment shots? i was thinking more close up cause product is so thin, getting further back other items like jug on top of it, surrounding objects are going to overpower it and not be prominent. also will have to have better photo shoot since more is captured in bg, more setu... Justin B. Drop RE-naming ideas - my idea was to do that, in a sense. i.e. ill make a placeholder site for oso, as a 'dev company', but then link out to sub sites. still be cool to have one catch stand alone url… play with verb/name deviations... March 17, 2014 9 comments
Taylor B. Production next step Resources - dang. no idea how i didnt come across that one. using same basic scale principals. with almost same amp circuit. xbee radio is popular so i understand why they used that. interesting. October 27, 2014 9 comments

Taylor B. Xively Datastream Services - we are using a dev account. they used to have a ton more info on their site and it all got chopped. keep in mind 95% of elec imp users and any other IoT hobbyist were using this. xively has taken a radical more business approach and you almost have to search out to find the dev account now. i wan... Justin B. Elec Imp Math functions - whew. this should be good now. have bunch more buffer logic in place for force detection as well as percent calculation. now it should only update wifi/server on init/reset, or if weight drops more than 5%. https://ide.electricimp.com/ide/models/24866/devices/2319a8eb6e4936ee October 24, 2014 9 comments

Taylor B. Elec Imp battery monitor/sleep resources - http://electricimp.com/docs/api/hardware/voltage/ problem there is in the actual code they are using a specific pin. i dont think just 'hardware.voltage()' would work http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=46652 http://blog.electricimp.com/post/58924766992/managing-wifis-effects-on-batter... Taylor B. 10/16 Device Pinouts - k blue and orange LED's are functioning properly. need a piece of code without all that original clutter that just spits back out values to device say every 10sec (i remember there being a limit on how fast it pings, but this is device only, dont know if it counts for that). Taylor B. Prototype V3 Enclosure - the legs on the sensors are longer than we need to use them in this style setup. but the way the legs are mounted in the actual sensors makes it hard to change them up. so the top is sitting higher than it needs to. if you look from the side can see thru to the open area of the base. took a guess... Taylor B. 10/2 Next Steps - tired to boost voltage output range but to no avail. its fine as is. just gets up to around 1.3V on a hard impact so would prefer like 5v but arduino can read it fine now wiring circuit up from breadboard October 2, 2014 30 comments

Taylor B. Prototype enclosure design - thats the only hangup now. the sensors have little plastic feet molded/pressed into the actual sensor. they are kind of high. like .300-.400" feet alone. if i chop the feet off i have to find a way to make pads welded onto the top and then find a way to align it so the top with feet is perfectly ... Taylor B. Sense Next steps - 8/5 status - working hardware using all 4 sensors, will have to sacrifice 1 LED light off the ElecImp board to quickly get this version running though.
